It is official: the Gaceta Oficial de Panamá published the authorization to continue the Cinta Costera by Terraplen into the dock´s area where the Public Market used to be.  If done well, it will connect the Casco even better with the rest of the city. Plans include to build underground parking, which has been a long time issue for the historic city. Authorities are quick to say that they are working side by side with the UNESCO to be sure to comply with their norms.
