1. Casco Viejo Flea Market: It is the first Sunday of every month.
Coordinated by the Oficina del Casco Antiguo, is the perfect place to buy and sell antique bottles, postcards, posters, music records, books and all sorts of miscellaneous stuff you can come up with. Read more about it at our blog:

2. James Bond Film-- It is over! Casco will come back to normality, but we´ll miss the glamour. A big "well done" to everyone in the crew, after looking at the size of all the machinery and logistics... wao!  
 

3. Movies Under the Stars: Don´t forget, this is every friday. Bring your chair unless you don´t mind sitting on the floor. Hey, we said
under the stars only... no vip area!   

4. Slideluck Potshow Panama:  March 4th, 7 p.m. Arco Chato. Free Food (you can bring your own too!) and fantastic slideshows from different artists. Prizes for those who can say slideluckpotshowpanama 33 times, no mistakes.

5. Tea Ceremony: March 6th, 2 p.m. Canal Museum. The Japanese Embassy has coordinated quite an interesting program with the Canal Museum. If you love tea and ancient ceremonies, this is for you!  

6. Japanese Martial Arts Show:    March 7th, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. At
the Canal Museum. Go on comfortable clothes in case they ask for volunteers.

7. Discantus: March 8th. At San Francisco de Asis Church. Organized by the Alliance Francaise, and celebrating Women´s Day, a choir of seven women will sing a capella medieval sacred music.

8. Origami Workshops: March 8th. Children (10:30 a.m. to 12 md) Adults
(3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Canal Museum.

9. Contemporary Dance Company "Mulleras":  Date: May 17th, at National Theatre.

10. International Festival of Performing Arts: April 3rd to 11th at the National Theatre (most of it).  This event has changed dates a couple of times, but it seems it is finally happening! Here is the latest info we have: Theatre companies performing: Teatro La Zaranda (Spain), Teatro Timbre 4 (Argentina), Teatro La Luna (Cuba), Teatro Complot (Uruguay). Contemporary Dance Companies: Lola Lince (Mexico), L´Explose (Colombia), Milvia Martinez and Analida Galindo (Panama).

Also, during this Festival, the Anita Villalaz Theatre and the bohemian spot La Casona will have their own happenings with groups from USA, Brasil and Panama. Tickets for the National Theatre will be between $5 to $20.  There will be some outdoor events, gratis-free.
