At Panama´s Cultural heart



It was a wonderful experience! I´m still recovering... When Danilo and Patricia asked me to be their Master of Ceremony for the big galas at Atlapa I was thrilled. I even went to see Susan at her beauty salon to get my hair looking decent! Some friends photographers that were at the event promised to send me photos, so you´ll see I´m not lying! I even wore high heels. Big mistake, though... jejeje.... what a pain the next day!

The music was unbelievable. Ellis Marsalis, John and Tom Patatucci, Juanito y su Flamenco... and above all the great discovery (for me) of Lizzy Wright... WAO. What a sensual voice. Everyone backstage was frozen. I sort of thought it was a bit exagerated when in the script they said that her voice would make you cry. Normally I´m not that expressive, but in this particular case, I can say truthfully she can make you cry if she wants you to. And then she´ll take you way above straight to the clouds!

And then the big event at Casco Viejo! what a great ambiance. I have to thank my Tío Mille and my cousing Rick for this fantastic photo...
