Going to the dentist must trigger some bizarre button in my skull that gives me the chills.  After all, I had braces when I was a kid... for three looong years. As my brother would say often: you better take care of those teeth because you are wearing my computer!!!! (of course, this was back when computers where really rare in Panama and expensive to get!).

I´m so glad times have changed. I do take care of my teeth and going to the dentist isn´t a trauma anymore. Yesterday, a friend was commenting on how she would pick a Dentist in Panama any time of the day over a Dentist in the USA.  She had some work done the other day that would had cost at least $1500 (well, maybe $1000 because of a crisis discount or something).  It was done in Panama for about $400.  And no quality difference, which is always the argument of those who vouch for high prices.

I do know that cleaning my teeth is about $60, and while some would charge less, I like my Dentist a lot so I wouldn´t go to another one.

You could almost plan for a trip, get your teeth cleaned and party with the rest of your money! (or you can save it, I mean... well... )
