 The Foundation Calicanto of Panama is full of overcoming stories. Since 2006 when this programs started until now has certified at least 100 women that proceed from the poorest neighborhoods of Panama.

On Wednesday 27, twenty women between the ages of 18 and 52 years old, received their certificate that gives them the opportunity to work in hotels, and even to open their own business.

Heriberto Trejos is the Executive Director of the Foundation, he explains that the women that choose to be part of this program received human development training, support psicològic and a practice in the International hotel School.
