Pianists from all over the world are competing this week on the III concurso International de Piano at the National Theatre. Guests include the Portuguese Sequeira Costa. The contest is organized by Jaime and Nelly Ingram and promoted by the Fundación concursos Internacionales.

You can either go every night this week to see the clasifications or to the Semi Finals. The dates of the semi finals are 24,25,26 of October. The big final day is on the 27tj.

Jury: The jury is conformed by 7 pianists from all over the world. According to the note at La Prensa, it ranges from United States, to Greece. Here is the list of some of the contest participants: Fernando Altamura (italy), Kristian Benitez (Venezuela), Renatta Betancourt (Brasil), Fernando Cruz (España), Chun-Chie Yen (Taiwan), Inga Fiolia (Russia), Xu Han (China), Beatriz Klein (Germany), Charles Marin (Spain), and more!

However, this isn´t the only contest going on. Towerbank launched at La Casona the first Urban Art Award called "Arte Innova".  The winners of this contest will have its design in the Frank Gehry museum (called BioMuseo) which is being built at the Causeway in Amador.
