Skaters welcome to San Felipe! With the double purpose of keeping kids out of the streets and keeping them in good shape, we are sponsoring space for a Skate Park within one of our buildings. The guys from Flow (the skate and surf store) donated the materials, some equipment and training, and the kids brought their enthusiasm.

Watching them practice I get the sense now on why they call it an extreme sport… ouch! I´m used to seeing the pros on TV but when you are learning… wao! It takes courage, a lot of energy and an unbreakable body. But I´m convinced kids under 12 are indestructible.  I teach ballet to children from 3 years old up and they fall and do all sorts of crazy stuff… and just bounce back, with a huge smile.
