Usually Paseo Las Bovedas and the waterfront at Calle 1era (nearby the National Theatre) are very romantic places to stroll with your significant other. Yesterday, however, the scene was taken by the Love Boat... German version!. Stars Nick and Christine are Casco Viejo residents and we are very proud that they´ve stirred the boat towards our little neighborhood for their production.

Today, at La Prensa, an article pointed out that since Quantum of Solace (the latest James Bond movie with Daniel Craig) Panama has been receiving a lot of attention from small films and commercial productions. Slowly peaking up, the country has received several reality shows (Survivor being one of them), soap operas and documentaries including works from BBC, NBC, National Geographic and Caracol. For those who are real estate fanatics, you might have seen me at House Hunters International! well, it is a small country!

2010 Seems to have already about five productions confirmed. Love Boat being one of the first ones, but also Wild Life from NHK (Japan), Fascinating Earth (England Documentary), House Hunters and Laender Menschen Abenteuer (Germany).  Upcoming are Survivor Spain and Suvivor Italy and the Colombian soap opera Muñecas de la Mafia.
