Christmas is in the air!!!

I know it is only October 26th, but couldn´t help myself.  I start thinking about Christmas in August, and trying to figure out presents that are not only helpful and fit for each person, but that won´t end in the garbage too soon (or not at all!).  Every year, we buy a Christmas tree for someone in the neighborhood, and so far we haven´t kept one at home. But this time, I really wanted a Christmas tree with us, as it was an important part of the family ritual in my childhood. But then again, having trees isn´t really that eco, is it?

So, welcome to our Newspaper Christmas Tree! and our magazine-made Christmas Tree.  It only took us Sunday morning, and is still a work in progress (need to collect more garbage to work out ornaments and star) but it is a great start!







And just in case you thought I was the only one thinking about Christmas so early, just walking down Las Bovedas on Friday, I saw a group from Fundación San Felipe called La Colmena practicing a Christmas Theatre Play. Joy, Joy, Joy!
