Panama Casco Viejo
Casco Antiguo Panama
Real Estate For Sale For Rent
at Panama´s Historic District

When Ricardo Martinelli took office this year, one of his main challenges was - and continues to be  - to lower the cost of living (energy, food). He joked that everything would be "lower"... but his belly. In spite of his remark, I actually think he must be on a diet. I swear that on his last photos, he looked a bit thinner.  If that is the case, the Panamanian President, who is owner of one of Panama´s main supermarkets (Super 99) has just met its first obstacle on keeping his belly in shape: Cafe Morales just opened around the corner from his office.

Right in front of the basketball field at the corner of 8th and Eloy Alfaro is Cafe Morales, Casco´s newest bakery. Their cheescake is really to die for, but they make you feel less guilty also serving nice salads.   I´m yet to try all their breads, but they look really good. Super nice staff, some bilingual.
