The final countdown for the Panama Jazz Festival 2010 has started. This year, the event will be dedicated to Sonny White who was a Panamanian pianist from the 20´s who played with international music stars such as Billie Holiday, Willie Bryant and Frankie Newton. Check out who is playing when and where!
This year our family decided to go with eco wrappings for Christmas. I´ve been wrapping with newspapers for a long time, but only now it seemed to "catch on". I´m sort of proud of my collection this year, so here it is! hope you like it...

Yesterday we had an interesting couple coming to the office. He is a broker and a surfer (throw in some snowboarding as well!) and was looking for a place to invest. His main goal was to get away from cash and transform it into hard assets. We was seeing the wave coming in the horizon and was ready to make his move...

I have to say, I worked at the Smithsonian and once of the things I never got tired of was visiting the Panama Canal. Nothing like navigating through pure jungle, checking out the monkeys (cariblancos, titis, howlers), the crocodriles, the birds and of course, the huge Panamax ships.
